The News Café is a virtual meeting place for a discussion and analysis of the news of the day. Besides gaining perspectives on the news, subscribers can share their own thoughts and questions — or bring up any other topic they’re interested in. We may select some of those subjects for more in-depth analysis as part of Liberty Indy Media.

By The Way is a companion to The News Café, offering news and feature stories that I believe will be of interest — many of them the result of reader suggestions. Some of the stories are picked up and published by traditional media, while news outlets deem other stories to be too local or not likely to have wide readership. Those stories appear only in By The Way.

Documentaries focusing on cultural, historical, and creative efforts , with a special emphasis on people overcoming adversity.

Once part of the nonprofit Liberty Independent Media Project, the videos are now being produced by Liberty Media LLC, but maintain that original focus on the stories that may not be getting the attention they merit.
